Home on The De-Ranged

Welcome to our humble Asylum

Come on in and meet our kinda crazy!

Folio à deux…A Madness of Two

My husband and I share a very special love of nature, and all it offers. Even at a young age, we were both separately introduced to artwork with animal bones and skulls and fell in love.

After years of trying to hide our creepy little passion, the Universe brought us together to achieve our dream of creating the most beautiful artwork to honor the life and death of nature. Only now, our weirdness prevails!

My name is Jackie Graham and Bob is my husband, but we call him Papa Bones. Together we make up the creepiest homesteading duo you’ve never seen! We are the quirky, spooky, and all together ooky, that one could never imagined.

We live on a 5 acre property in Oklahoma that was completely uninhabitable when we bought it. There was trash from over the years where people had dumped all kinds of crazy things. We later discovered that some of these items were treasures absolutely waiting for us to find.

We’ve since turned our little asylum into an investment property, homestead, and home to a few more little nuggets in the future on Maggie Rose Farm.

But we’re not your average farmers!

We also have an oddities & taxidermy shop, Glitter-N-Bones which was actually our first little business together, and Halloween is all year round for us.

Bob and I are also collectors of oddities and curiosities, and are artists, and creators as well.

Now we’re running around here like crazies growing veggies, and raising our own food!

What the hell’s next!

Bob & Jackie Graham

Jackie Vincent-Graham

Boss lady here at Home on the De-Ranged, and Head wrangler of Papa Bones. It’s a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

I grew up in big cities my whole life, in different parts of the country.

When I was a child, I was allergic to grass, and pretty much all things out doors. Over the years, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere there wasn’t a 7/11 on every corner, and concrete all around.

After surviving major traumas in my life, including human trafficking, I have found my peace in the world.

My safe place.

There is absolutely nothing I love more now than to play in the dirt! When I’m outside, or in one of my gardens, I feel a bond to Mother Nature that is truly magical.

I have found my roots in the soil of the Earth, and she loves me in return everyday.

Bob Graham *Aka* Papa Bones

Executive Assistant, #1 Employee, Homestead Hit Man, and my Gomez Adams

Bob on the other hand, grew up in small towns throughout his youth. He learned a simple way of life often spending his time with his grandfather, who’d I have to say was his biggest influence in life.

He taught him how to organize screws in jars, fix anything with duct tape, and always reuse materials if you can.

Oh, and he also taught him to be ornery as hell, but what fun is that.

Over the years, he found himself falling in love with everything odd and unique in the world. He had always been attracted to the dark arts, but now his soul began to crave it.

His inner artist began to take control, and the rest is here to be written.

Somehow, the Universe allowed for this magic to occur, in which twin flames were brought together to create some absolute madness!

Come along as we walk you (or trip you) through our latest creations, projects, sometimes blunders, but always entertaining, way ’round here. We’ll share with you ways we’ve recycled materials in some pretty creative ways! From clearing land, to building animal hutches, and beyond!

We have some awesome plans coming soon, so stick around for a bit, and see what happens next!
